By accessing or using TEMPO ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TEMPO is an adaptive triathlon coaching platform that connects to your training data sources (such as Garmin Connect and Strava), analyses your fitness, and generates personalised training plans and recommendations. The Service is for informational and coaching-support purposes only.
TEMPO is not a medical service. The plans, recommendations, and analysis provided do not constitute medical advice. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any new exercise programme, particularly if you have existing health conditions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using TEMPO, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond your own account data
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service connects to third-party platforms including Garmin Connect and Strava. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding your training data), features, and functionality are owned by TEMPO and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your personal training data at all times.
8. Your Data
You grant TEMPO a limited licence to access, process, and store your training data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Training recommendations will achieve any particular athletic outcome
- Data from third-party integrations will be complete or accurate
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TEMPO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
